The PermiTech functionality is consistent across all modules, utilizing a New Permit screen to create and print new permits, and an Existing Permit screen to review, print, or modify existing permits.  In addition, there is an Export capability, as well as screen(s) to manage a variety of configuration choices, such as Permit numbering, Inspector Name, etc.

Below are screen shots from the Building Inspectors Module, showing the Main Menu, New Building Permits, and Existing Building Permits screens.  These are the most commonly used screens of this module, and provide a good insight into the application look and feel.

The first screen shown is the Main Menu.  For each permit / certificate type, there are screens to create new permits, and a screen to review or modify existing permits already created within the application.  In addition, there are a variety of Utility Functions that allow users to export permit records to spreadsheets and change various configuration parameters.

The screen below is used to create New Building Permits.  It provides the user several drop-down boxes, including the Address box.  PermiTech offers towns a fully integrated solution with your town's Assessor database - choosing the address will automatically populate much of this screen because it leverages the data already present in the Assessors database.

The screen below is used to review or modify Existing Building Permits.  The QuickJump feature gives the user 3 ways to retrieve existing permits - by Permit Number, by Parcel, or by Address.

Once the desired permit has been retrieved and is on the screen, it can be edited, printed, deleted, or just reviewed.
