August 2008, Alford, MA signs Contract for Permitech Building Inspector Software

Hawkeye Government Solutions will soon start the implementation of Alford, MA for the Permitech Building Inspector Software solution designed specifically for Small Towns. The Town of Alford is in Western Massachusetts and has a population of around 500 people.  The Hawkeye solution provides the Town with the ability to create, print and e-mail new Building Permits, Certificates of Occupancy and Certificates of Inspections. This is our 10th installation in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and we feel that our solution fits smaller communities that want a straight forward solution that is easy to use and does the job.  

July 2008, The City of Lawrence retains Hawkeye Government Solutions for application software consulting. Hawkeye will be involved with both the Information Technology Management and staff for reviewing and making recommendations for current application software and potential other solutions as needed.

June 2008, Hawkeye Government Solutions signs contract with idyllogic Systems to co-develop, support and market their Permitech™ solution for small towns. There are very few permitting solutions that focus on smaller communities that need to streamline their building permitting process.  Permitech™ with customers throughout Western Massachusetts has been quietly doing just that. Hawkeye Government Solutions is proud to be able to offer smaller municipalities a high feature low end price solution that can get the job done for building officials.

May 2008, Town of Westford MA Completes Document Imaging and Retrieval Project

This past February the Town of Westford contracted with Hawkeye Government Solutions to implement their Hawkeye ImageView Solution. Chris McClure, IT Manager, for the Town specified that in this solution it was necessary for all departments to have a Central Repository of documents that can be easily stored and retrieved. The Town with Hawkeye’s Document Imaging Specialist was able to create applications for imaging needed such as a way to create document packets for Town Selectmen before meetings. The Document Imaging solution works both online for their constituents and internally for employees. Mr. McClure was impressed with the timeliness and smoothness of the installation.  

January 11 & 12, 2008, Hawkeye launched itself to the municipal world with a booth ( #703) at the Massachusetts Municipal Association 2008 Annual Meeting and Trade Show at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA

December 13, 2007, Hawkeye will be conducting its first User Advisory Group meeting.  The User Advisory Group is made up of local Massachusetts officials from Milford, Chelsea, Lawrence, and Marlboro as well as Sanford, ME. 

December 2007,   Hawkeye Government Solutions launches and welcomes municipality officials to its new website, www.hawkeyegs.com.

December 8, 2007,   Milford, MA ICE nets 15 illegal immigrants in raid.  Federal Authorities conducted a raid, with mixed reactions from local officials.  Hawkeye GS Occupancy Verification Inspectors had already identified this property for the local officials as having an excessive quantity of bedrooms. http://milforddailynews.com/news/x540393013

November 2007, Hawkeye launches it's own Hawkeye ImageView.  “The shear quantity of paperwork being generated by the Inspection program coupled with the already insurmountable stream of documents already in existence created an immediate need for the development of this system”

July 2007, Hawkeye lands its first contract outside of Milford with the City of Chelsea, MA.  “Chelsea had already started their own program similar to the one we had created for Milford, but they needed our assistance to bundle and manage all of the data coming in from the field”

May 2007, RMX Northeast, Inc teams up with Karlin Solutions and BMPJ Software Development to create Hawkeye Government Solutions and begin the development of the software now known as the Occupancy Verification System (OVS).

March 2007, RMX Northeast, Inc. is hired by the Town of Milford, MA to implement a By-Law initiated by The Board of Health to combat overcrowding within the multi-family and non-owner occupied properties in the town.  Working hand in hand with Town officials RMX helped to create what is now known as the Occupancy Verification Program.
